After the Perahera, the event finishes by performing a Dewa Mangalyaya. Many rituals are performed to satisfy Gods. Gammaduwa is one of them. Gammaduwa is a traditional drama performance done mainly with the intentions of pleasing Gods and thus getting their blessings for good crops, calm weathers and cure diseases.

A Dansela (offering food for the devotes freely) is held o supply food for every one who gathers around to watch these events. The number of participants usually increases up o 10 000, all of them are supplied with free food.
