Batadoowa Sri Vishnu Devalaya, situaed in Galle, the beautiful down south coastal city of Sri Lanka is a place famous for its miraculous powers all around the country and globe.

Begining of Sri Vishnu Dewalaya

In August 1998 raththaran was working as a soldier in North part of the country where the civil war is. One day Raththran and his squad were attacked heavily by LTTE terrorists. They fought in the middle of the forest and was separated from each other. The battle continued for 3 days. From the memories he can recall he says after loosing his way inside the forest he felt almost unconscious. Giving up his hopes of finding his way to the camp he felt upon the ground. Suddenly he felt a strong power entering his body then he stood up found his way to the camp among the forest.
After that he started bleeding from his mouth and nose, he was given the best medical treatments available but none could help his condition. Then he felt this is the effect of the power that entered his body he seek the help of God. After performing rituals and making offerings to God Sri Vishnu he recovered.
From then on he understood the powers he has gained and dedicated his life to help people. Then he built the Batadoowa Sri Vishnu Devalaya and continues to do his offerings and prayers to God. Using the supernatural powers he has from his possession he continues to help people.
